Cherise Twitchell

Cherise Twitchell came to VelociArms from a very different background than Taylor. While working for the Veterans Health Administration as a clinical profiler and raising her granddaughter, firearms were not originally her area of expertise.

 

That began to change in 2020.

 

As Taylor pursued his gunsmithing education, Cherise became part of the journey. She helped with homework, joined Taylor on firearm and tool-shopping trips, managed the budget and inventory, and helped keep the demands of work, family, and a growing business moving forward.

 

But Cherise’s role quickly became more than behind-the-scenes support.

 

In 2020, she designed and produced the original VelociArms merchandise and swag, helping establish the visual identity of the company.

 

As VelociArms continued to grow, so did Cherise’s involvement.

 

In 2025, she began creating the company’s vinyl camouflage patterns, bringing a creative and hands-on element to the firearm finishing side of the business.

 

Then, in 2026, Cherise took another step forward and began painting, expanding her role from business support and design into the hands-on finishing work itself.

 

Her journey reflects something important about VelociArms: you don’t have to start as an expert to become part of the craft.

 

Cherise learned, adapted, and grew alongside the company.

 

From managing budgets and inventory, to designing the brand’s merchandise, to creating camouflage patterns and learning to paint firearms, her contribution has continually evolved with VelociArms.

 

She didn’t just help build the business. She grew with it.
